Alberto Maria Gronchi was born in 1997 in Pontedera, a city in the heart of Tuscany. He moved to Bologna where he attended the Modern Literature course. For three years he has lived in Milan where he attended a master’s degree in photography at Cfp Bauer and where he has now started his career: he works in fashion and advertising photography, also covering the role of post-producer. In addition to the commercial side, his artistic research is strongly characterized by a social depth and a great interest in the human figure in relation to his own place and cultural context; “I always photograph others for something they have or something I don’t have, it is I who can look at myself after they have looked at me: this incredible psychoanalytic therapy made of voids and spaces is my idea of photography”.
